How safe is Bitrue,
really?
Instead of a vague 'trusted' badge, we grade Bitrue on five concrete, checkable criteria — each with sources. Here's exactly how it scores.
Criterion by criterion, with sources
- ✗
Regulation
No licence from a financial regulator. Bitrue Singapore Pte. Ltd. is a registered company (UEN 201818989M), and Bitrue itself states it is not licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Its Lithuanian entry is a VASP registration with the FNTT — a registration, not a licence, and not a MiCA authorisation. Source 1 → Source 2 → Source 3 →

Proof-of-Reserves
In November 2022 Bitrue announced an independent proof-of-reserves audit. We found no published report since. Source →
- ✓
Flexible withdrawal
Power Piggy, the flexible product, has no term: it can be redeemed at any time. The 60-day fixed campaigns at 6.5–10% are for new users only and are not what we publish. Source →
- ✗
Insurance Fund
No named insurance fund or protection fund of public size found. After the April 2023 hack Bitrue said user losses would be covered, but it publishes no fund size. Source →

Track record (2+ years incident-free)
Two hacks: about $4.5M of XRP and ADA in June 2019, and about $23M from a hot wallet in April 2023 (under 5% of holdings; Bitrue said users would be covered). We found no confirmation that the 2023 compensation was completed. Source 1 → Source 2 →
